The first bracket for the vertical fin mount is completed. It took me a full four days of intensive metalwork and welding, reject included.  Note that the tube is not at a right angle to the vertical axis. According the original blueprints there is a 2° 15″ angle. The CAD however shows only  half of that number, which appears to be the right figure. Just another detail which adds to the excitement.

The second bracket is in production already.
