Small Pulleys, Big Effort.
In the construction drawings, the cables for the elevon trim run along the right cockpit wall towards the rear, at elbow height for the pilot, which must be considered less than ideal. However, these cables are not found in the cockpit of the original aircraft. Clearly, they were routed under the cockpit floor, but this change was not reflected in the drawings. The only option was to use CAD to redesign an additional deflection pulley behind the seat bulkhead.
The result: A pair of pulleys on a carrier, machined from solid material, which also serves as a cable guide.
