Fuselage Bottom Sheating Part 3

With the cockpit floor fully installed, the lower fuselage could be completely covered.

The frontmost segment had to be bent to relatively tight radii in all dimensions. During the dry-fitting process, three of the boards broke. So, I had to first create a template from thinner plywood to precisely cut the 3mm plywood boards. It took two rounds of steaming before the boards could be bent over the fuselage form.

The cutout in the front fuselage floor still needs to be accurately cut. In the original aircraft, a cover made of aluminium sheet is used there. I plan to attempt making this out of composite material.
