The underside of the fuselage is fully planked, the landing gear doors are installed, and the time has come to remove the building frame and turn the fuselage back into its normal position. Not an easy task, as it now weighs over 300kg, and my workshop ceiling is too low for a crane.
I decided to roll the fuselage around 180 degrees using two half-round templates, doing it carefully. The experiment went smoothly, and now the fuselage is resting on foam profiles, ready for the top side to be planked.
