Instructions for Building a Trim Tab:

Take a large piece of balsa wood, cut a groove lengthwise, and glue in a piece of plywood. Then carve the base for the balance weight from a laminated spruce block. Be careful, it’s tapered! Next, glue the tapered balsa core to the spar web, the spar caps, the profiled top and bottom sections, the profiled Resocell bearing supports with glued-in bronze bushings, the base for the balance weight, and sheath the whole thing with 1mm plywood. Finally, glue on the pre-shaped and tapered leading edge skin, which is made from a single piece. And that's the trim tab finished. The attention to detail of these engineers is unmatched.
