Just in time for Christmas, the main fitting for the nose landing gear is finally welded! Of course, a jig had to be built first. And it paid off — the welding distortion is minimal.
Now, the part needs to be stress-relieved before the holes can be accurately bored out.
In the meantime, the missing material for the knee piece (see update 1) has arrived, so work on that can continue.
