Built from carbon fibre with a layer of Kevlar and a recess for the pilot's parachute.
The first attempt was a complete failure because I used the wrong filler for building the mould. The wax release layer dissolved, and the laminate and mould bonded together. So, back to square one: build a new mould with the correct filler and redo the entire laminating process.
The second attempt was a perfect success.
